In a report on goclinton.com, it’s good news in baseball. The 11 and under Elite Diamond Dawgs went undefeated in their eight-team bracket to win the Game-On Classic baseball tournament this past weekend at Heritage Park Simpsonville, SC. The Diamond Dawgs consist of players mainly from Laurens County and Anderson County.
Finding a job in the same high school that you graduated from is not an opportunity given to everyone. This was exactly the once in a lifetime opportunity offered to Nora Ann Pace, as she now works alongside Dr. Barnes, who taught her athletic training at Clinton High School. This 2006 graduate of CHS was granted the position of athletic trainer, replacing Dr. Barnes as head athletic trainer, during the 2011-2012 school year.
